Hayden was such a blessing to have in our live's. Although finding that when you lose a child, you lose yourself as well. Hayden was a normal 3 year old little boy untill he got sick July 5th of 2011. He was not diagnoised untill July 23rd of 2011. He was diagnoised with a rare immune disease called Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). It is an immune disease that is very fatal.1 in 1.2 Million kids get this. It is very Fatal and very soon. It requires a Bone Marrow Transplant, lot's of chemotherapy and other medacines and still no guarantee to make it through that. Hayden Got very sick over night with spiking fevers that would reach 107. his eye hurt very badly and he could not walk He was in PICU unit on 46 diffrent IV medacines to keep him alive, plus addition meds on top of that. Hayden was getting around the clock Blood transfusions, Platlet Transfusions, and Plasma transfusions. He was bleeding very badley with this disease and his skin had fallen off. All of his organs had shut completly down. It was the worst 2 months of my life watching him go through such a horrable thing and i could not even imagine what he felt like going through it hisself. He was on 4 major sedatives that did not even ease his pain. He was on 4 Blood Pressure medacines and still had low blood pressure that was like 20/12. He was to sick to transport but when the Dr's came in and told us there was nothing else they could do for him we decided to put him on a jet and get him to Cincinnati Childrens hospial, not knowing if he was going to make the flight we wanted all possabilities for him. 8 days before he passed we went only for them to send us back closer to home saying he was dieing and had no chance at all.. We did all we could do and he faught so hard. August 29th Haydens heart stopped with me laying right beside him holding him and my husband holding his hand.. That's the day our live's fell apart. We miss him so much and will never forget his smileing face and his laughter knowing that one day Hayden will be waiting on us to meet him in Heaven..
